The new bur kit for indirect restorations
The new bur kit for indirect restorations

The new StyleItaliano bur kit for indirect restorations
Burs, codes and clinical protocol, all in one kit. The bur sequence is suitable for Veneers, Crowns and Onlay/Overlays, the kit has been optimized and tried in hundreds of clinical cases, there is no need for using extra burs.
Veneer
Named with the letter “V” only 4 burs are necessary for a full veneer preparation with either a small chamfer or a straight margin.
- V1 Depth marker
- V2 Incisal and buccal reduction
- V3 Preparation softening
- V4 Proximal Opener
Onlay/ Overlay
2 burs especially designed for posterior indirect adhesive preparation, marked with the letter “O” one for occlusal reduction and the second one for fine geometry.
- O1 Occlusal reduction and box
- O2 Fine preparation
Crown
The letter “C” stands for crown, only 3 burs are necessary for a feather edge crown. Use the Veneer burs in case of preparing a chamfer.
- C1 Palatal reduction
- C2 Axial and incisal reduction
- C3 Fine preparation

Veneer
Only 4 steps to achieve the correct space, geometry of the preparation, the desired margin and its relationship with the neighbor teeth. Suitable for preparation over the mock-up or without it.

V1 – Depth marker
0,5 mm safety bur with 4 cutting edges.

V2 – Incisal and buccal reduction
Coarse torpedo bur for 1 mm incisal reduction and fast buccal depth mark reduction.

V3 – Preparation softening
Extrafine diamond for surface smoothening.

V4 – Proximal Opener
Medium-fine diamond flame bur to open contacts or create a feather edge margin.

Onlay / Overlay
2 step protocol for indirect partial posterior restorations.

O1 – Occlusal reduction
1.5 mm for fast reduction, depth marks generation and proximal box shaping.

O2 – Fine preparation
Medium-fine grit bur, much thicker in shape (2 mm) for geometry optimization and extra space creation.

Crown
3 step protocol uitable for feather edge preparation and alternatively for light chamfer.

C1 – Palatal reduction
Coarse diamond with Football shape for fast palatal reduction and space creation.

C2 – Axial and incisal reduction
Coarse diamond for fast axial reduction without creating margins or for feather edge margin, use V2 in case a light chamfer is needed.

C3 – Fine preparation
Smoothening of the full prep and feather edge finishing. Use V3 in case a light chamfer is needed.
