LM-ARTE POSTERIOR MISURA
Posterior version of the popular Misura instrument is designed for vertical measuring of thickness of composite layers on posterior restorations. The fork shaped tip of the instrument allows modeling of the proximal wall to copy the height and anatomy of the neighboring tooth with the presence of a matrix.

LM Cusp Misura
The LM Arte Cusp Misura is known to be ideal for evaluating the thickness of the natural tooth structure and choosing the restorative technique to be used. If the forked instrument tip penetrates up to its marks, the tooth structure is too weak to withstand occlusal forces with a direct restoration, and other clinical options must be considered.

“To measure the thickness of the buccal cusp and decide whether to keep it or remove it.”

Using LM Cusp Misura to check cusp hight and width starting with the distobuccal one. As it isthinner than 2 mm, the risk of fracture is high.
Clinical Cases using LM Cusp Misura

The same instrument was used to measure distolingual cusp, which was also too thin, so coverage was needed for this cusp as well.

The weakened cusp should be lowered 2mm. Etch only the area that we are going to build-up with the silicone index.
POSTERIOR MISURA
What can I do with it?

The successful collaboration between LM-Dental and Style Italiano, has once again led to the creation of a new instrument, LM Arte Posterior Misura. Product code in picture.

The two different shaped tips are designed for horizontal and vertical measuring and modeling of composite layers on posterior restorations.

The fork shaped tip of the instrument allows measuring and modeling of the composite wall to copy the height and anatomy of the neighboring tooth with the presence of a matrix.

We need just 1,5 mm thickness of the last layer if we want to avoid to have highspots after restoration. Another Tip of this instrument gives us a chance to leave this space for final layer.

If you want to have the same height of wall with adjacent tooth use the Posteiror Misura instrument. We can easily eliminate excess material with half of fork when the second part is controlling the height.

The wall is ready and now we can check the height with the same instrument. You can notice that both approximal walls at the same level.

LM CONDENSA

Before placing any composite material, it is necessary to customize the contact point, with LM ARTE Condensa, to transform it into a contact surface and to place it more vestibular or oral, more gingival or occlusal.

Applying to the vestibular and palatal walls with LM ARTE Condensa. You can notice that the height of the new wall is more than our line.

LM FISSURA

Placing Bulk-flow between matrix and tooth. spreading with Fissura by LM ARTE.

With the essential lines we can easily recreate the anatomy. The Essential lines technique by Styleitaliano give us a chance to model the last layer in 2 minutes using LM ARTE Fissura.
